Colin Clarke's responsibilities include countywide mobility for all ages and abilities for 1.2 million residents — including people bicycling, walking, and using electric mobility devices. Colin began his career in public service in 1999 in his childhood hometown of Union City, California in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area. He has experience working for federal, regional, county, and local agencies, and the private sector. Colin holds a Master’s degree in City & Regional Planning from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and Bachelor’s degrees in Community & Regional Development and Sociology-Organizational Studies from UC Davis. He is currently working on a multi-disciplinary effort to develop a Countywide Vision Zero Framework, how-to guide for local jurisdictions, toolkit of safe system actions, pedestrian needs assessment, countywide micromobility policy, and more.
