Meet Doogie Roux, a proud Cajun-Texan, committed cyclist, and vibrant photographer-artist with a background in distributed control systems automation, bike share operations, journalism, and advocacy. Doogie has a proven track record as a strategic operative for micromobility, logistics, marketing, and creative media industries. He’s worked internationally and continues to build rapport with diverse groups to collaborate across various industries. On a local level, he serves on the Board of Directors for the advocacy group BikeHouston and sits on the metropolitan planning organization’s ped-bike subcommittee. He’s also a former competitive cyclist, and continues to advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in various action sports and outdoor spaces. Doogie helped develop the equity-focused, GOpass, a cash-free option for Houston BCycle, and continues to be involved in providing an equity lens and standards for bikeshare and bike advocacy.
