About this Speaker

Eric Englin is an operations research analyst in the Transportation Planning division at the U.S. DOT Volpe Center. He supports various analytical research efforts on a broad variety of projects including park planning and regional travel, environmental emissions modeling, and vehicle blind zone mapping. In his work on direct vision and vehicle safety, he supports development of the VIEW app, a blindzone measurement web tool. ​


Prior to joining Volpe, Eric worked in a few roles including as an AmeriCorps VISTA and an analytics consultant for a Fortune 10 company. He holds a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. ​
