About this Speaker

Jason Schrieber, AICP, is a Senior Principal with Stantec’s Urban Places initiative, which seeks to apply evolving best practices to downtowns across the globe. As a multi-modal planner and designer focused on the intersection of the public realm and safe, efficient and healthy communities, he has spent over 25 years helping hundreds of cities, institutions, and developers elevate the importance of modal integration and rationalize mobility policies, plans and infrastructure solutions, with an emphasis on rationalizing auto access and parking. Notable accomplishments include the emirate-wide parking strategy for Abu Dhabi’s framework regulations; the east coast’s first performance-based parking pricing success in Salem, MA; the revamping of Washington DC’s curbside regulations; Boston’s city-wide, climate-action parking strategy; Cambridge’s pioneering PTDM ordinance; and the shared parking operations and supply strategies underlying large developments like Blatchford in Edmonton, North Point in Cambridge, Bridge Street in Dublin, OH, Innovation Square in Gainesville, and most recently for Sidewalk Toronto.
